We’ll Never Forget

Today is my friend Linda’s wedding anniversary, so I want to wish her a happy day, even though most of our thoughts are elsewhere. I’m still out selling and listing homes today, though the events of September 11^th, eight years ago, keep making their way into my thoughts. The details are still so crisp, and within minutes I am back sitting on my dad’s couch, staring at the television in disbelief as the Twin Towers were going down.

In the meantime, this week’s Snapshot photo is not of a house, ’cuz you can find all of my listings here, but of my husband, Phil, about 15 minutes ago. He’s just about ready to tee off at Mendakota Country Club for a “Tee It Up For the Troops” golf tournament. He’s beside himself with excitement because he got his picture taken by this big, 28-year-old eagle. He’s still yakking away on the phone while I’ve started emailing you with my Weekly Update. I hope it brings him luck, and all of those silly little golf score words too.

Also, we’ll absorb some important things, like what Justin Morneau had for breakfast. P.S. Julie, my assistant, made of fun of me because yesterday when I said, “I got it in the can at Hudson Golf Course.” She thought I was being perverted and disgusting. She really needs to get out more…and perhaps she too can get it in the can. (Don’t mean to offend, but it’s sort of funny, especially if you love BLL, in a can.)
